Desperation is a powerful conference full of worship, prayer, powerful teaching, and more.

What is Desperation?

Desperation was birthed for one purpose: to help sculpt a generation that desires to live a life in desperate pursuit of God. We believe that if we unite and pray then God will bring change to our generation as local churches gradually and intentionally make disciples of Jesus. Each year, thousands of students from across the world gather together for a weekend devoted to worship, prayer and going deep with God. Every year we challenge each student to take what we call THE VOW and to live out that Vow. Our hope is that, by encouraging students to develop some of these core Christian principles, they will grow in their walk with God.

What Makes Desperation Distinct?

Desperation has always been held at local churches that are committed to igniting, challenging and training young people. The Conference focuses on core areas such as worship, prayer, holiness, fasting and missions. It is not a conference for the fainthearted, but for those who are fervent for God’s heart and His purposes in this generation.

What is the culture of Desperation?

Desperation calls young people to live in desperate pursuit of God. Therefore when you bring your youth group to one of our conferences, you can expect prolonged worship and prayer times, dynamic national speakers, and an overall intense encounter with God. It is an experience that words cannot describe. For some, it is a call to return home to the Father; but for most, it is a life altering experience that forever changes their perspective on life and God.
